PickHit2012aWheatstone is proud to announce that our all-new LX-24 modular IP control surface has won the Radio magazine Pick Hit Award at NAB 2012. The presentation was made by Radio editor Chriss Scherer at the Wheatstone booth on Wednesday afternoon.

The LX-24 is an entirely new design, combining a sleek, low-profile, high-tech look with superior ergonomics. Featuring smooth Penny & Giles long-throw faders, high-resolution metering, positive-action switches with LED lighting and film labeling, and fully modular construction, the console has an impressive array of capabilities. It's designed specifically for use with the WheatNet-IP Intelligent Network.

The Pick Hit Awards were created in 1985. At the time,Broadcast Engineering magazine covered both radio and television, and when Radio magazine was introduced in 1994, the Pick Hits tradition continued. Now in its 28th year, the Pick Hit Awards are still considered to be the highest technical honor awarded at the NAB convention.

The Radio magazine Pick Hit Awards recognize the 20 best new radio products shown at the NAB convention. The products are selected by a panel of radio industry professionals, so the selected products are indicative of true industry choices. Pick Hit winners are chosen by the industry, for the industry, and at the show, not in advance.
